He Won Over Many Hearts

Fans of Korean movie hunk Won Bin may not get to savour his chiselled features and sexy double-lidded eyes for a while.

Making a hotly awaited appearance in Singapore on Tuesday to promote his new movie My Brother, he could not confirm if he would return to acting after serving a compulsory two-year military stint.

The 27-year old is due to enlist this year. Flashing his loin-warming smile in between characteristically reticent replies, he said he was not worried about the draft affecting his career as “I would have become a more mature person after that and my plans may change”.

Dubbed one of Korea’s four heavenly Kings along with heartthrobs Bae Yong Jun, Jang Don Gun and Lee Byung Hun, the 1.78m-tall Won has an Asia-wide fan base spanning China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and his native Korea.
